“I have been fascinated by glass since I was a child, by the infinite options of hot glass, by the colored light it creates, by its strength and its fragility. I began with leaded glass and progressed to etched and fused glass. While it’s exhilarating to create a new piece just for the joy of creating, I love the challenge that comes with commission pieces. When I can develop a design that pleases the client and satisfies my own design sense I am truly happy. Recently I have been concentrating on combining fused glass and precious metal wire to create one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. I started my business, Tapestry Glass, and began accepting commissions in 1980”.
